In summary, I provided a poor rating due to the poor communication and disappointment over the service we recieved versus what was expected, and the inability to have the experience I had hoped to have on a special occasion. Tip: Tent 6 primitive site is rather large and excellent for a secluded site and Tent 2 water/electric is secluded and has both hook-ups that make for a wonderful experience. The service is relaxed and is good quality when it comes to the basics of booking the site (minus clear expectations), maintainance of the property and shower/bathrooms, and delivery of firewood. When we arrived in August things had changed because I was provided with a strict rule that "group camping is not allowed." It is a private campground so this was completely understandable that rules could be changed based on the best interest of the business. I was told that it would not be a problem and I booked the lot with quoted prices. In June of 2018 I called and made sure that the owners would be okay with renting the secluded sites for a group of 10 to 12. The campground had several spots open and we were able to seclude ourselves, relax, enjoy the fire, and camp without any issues. At that time we had a party of three and two tents. We first visited in 2017 and were highly impressed with the grounds and owners.
